My husband, daughter, (not-so-working!) cocker spaniel and I live on a cider apple farm in Worcestershire in a single-storey barn we finished building in 2020. We produce horse hay and haylage here, have a small flock of Shropshire sheep and my happiest place is sitting behind a horse’s ears – eventing, in particular, is my passion!

The name ‘Clementine and Creative’ combines my two main ‘whys’ for becoming a freelance writer:
- ‘Clementine’ is my personal why – it’s a reminder of our daughter’s Christmastime birthday, as she’s the driving force behind this business, and
- ‘Creative’ is my professional why.
Picture your business as an orange – actually, why not a clementine! Your audience has an awareness of who you are from the outside, and sitting beneath are segments filled with your offerings, benefits and brilliance!
Now there are only one or two ways to peel a clementine to get to the juicy goodness…
